Dr. Jamuna Devi has 15 years of cardiology experience. She received her medical degree from the Madras Medical College in Chennai, India. Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, WHO’s Chief Scientist and Deputy Director General, awarded her the Alathoor Narendra Memorial Endowment Gold Medal and the Shri Nagi Reddi Memorial Endowment Gold Medal for achieving the highest ranking at the university in 2016. Dr. Jamuna Devi has gained a vast experience as a Consultant Cardiologist and Interventionist in hospitals across the South of India. She published articles in national and international journals, gave oral presentations at national conferences, and served as the principal investigator for clinical trials of statin therapy. She has received training in advanced cardiovascular life support. She has a reputation for executing minimally invasive coronary interventions with the lowest complication rate. She is a Member of the American College of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology, and Indian Cardiovascular Society.
