Biography

Dr. Sai Babu Jonnada is a trained British Consultant Clinical Oncologist with extensive experience in treating various cancers. He has worked as a Consultant Oncologist in both the UK and the UAE, accumulating 16 years of experience as a physician. After graduating, Dr. Sai relocated to the UK for his postgraduate training, which included training at several prestigious hospitals in southwest England and Wales, such as Oxford and Cardiff. During his specialty training, he worked at Belfast City Hospital (Queen’s University) in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Although Dr. Sai is currently practicing as a Medical Oncologist, his training and profession as a Clinical Oncologist enable him to integrate both Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology approaches. This dual expertise allows him to make well-rounded treatment decisions for his patients. Dr. Sai is experienced in all forms of chemotherapy and has a particular interest in immunotherapy and biological therapies, which have demonstrated better outcomes with fewer side effects compared to conventional chemotherapy. He is also well-versed in the latest radiotherapy techniques, including Intensity-Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), RapidArc, and TomoTherapy.
