Biography

Dr. Darakhshan Naheed is a Specialist Neurologist with advanced training in Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders. She completed her DM in Adult Neurology from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India  after obtaining her MBBS and MD (General Medicine) from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh, India. She further pursued a Clinical Fellowship in Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders at the National Neuroscience Institute, Singapore, where she gained specialized expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex movement disorders. Dr. Naheed has extensive clinical experience across India and the United Arab Emirates, having worked with several leading healthcare institutions. She provides comprehensive care for a wide range of adult neurological disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a particular focus on Parkinson’s disease, tremor, dystonia, and other movement disorders. She is proficient in the interpretation of EEG and nerve conduction studies, and is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered neurological care.
