Biography

Dr. Kuldeep Singh is a Specialist Gastroenterologist and Advanced Interventional Endoscopist with a special interest in the comprehensive care of patients with gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreato-biliary diseases. Over the past several years, he has played a key role in developing and leading high-volume gastroenterology services, managing a wide spectrum of both routine and complex cases with a strong focus on safe, evidence-based, and patient-centred care. His clinical expertise spans a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP. He is highly experienced in advanced interventions such as the management of difficult biliary stones and strictures, stent placements, and emergency endoscopy for gastrointestinal bleeding. Dr. Singh also performs complex procedures including third-space endoscopy (POEM) and advanced pancreato-biliary interventions, particularly in cases referred after previously failed procedures.

A significant part of his practice involves the management of chronic liver disease, fatty liver disease, pancreatitis, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and gastrointestinal cancers, working within a multidisciplinary framework to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Kuldeep Singh has been actively involved in building and strengthening gastroenterology services, mentoring junior doctors, training endoscopy staff, and implementing quality and safety improvements within endoscopy units. He strongly believes in collaborative teamwork and works closely with surgical, oncology, radiology, and critical care teams to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients. He holds a DM in Gastroenterology and Hepatology and an MD in Internal Medicine.
