During DM training in Endocrinology, received comprehensive training in managing endocrine disorders in both adults and pediatric patients. This experience includes handling all areas of Endocrinology, managing patients on both an outpatient (OPD) and inpatient (IP) basis, and attending endocrinology-related consultations from various medical, surgical, and super-specialty disciplines. Experienced in treating diabetes mellitus, including Type 1 diabetes, and the use of Continuous Glucose Monitoring Systems (CGMS) and insulin pumps. Proficient in managing thyroid, pituitary, and adrenal disorders; polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and reproductive endocrinology; bone mineral diseases; and growth and pubertal disorders. Received hands-on training in Thyroid Sonography and guided Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) of thyroid nodules. The thyroid cancer clinic within the DM training department manages all types of thyroid cancers in coordination with the Surgical, Nuclear Medicine, and Medical Oncology departments.
